Privacy Policy

1. General provisions

1.1. These terms of the privacy policy describe the basic principles and procedure according to which the Limited Liability Company "Go&Row", registration no. 40203408604 (hereinafter referred to as ``Go&Row''  or ``Data Controller'') acquires, processes and stores personal data, obtained from its customers and persons (hereinafter referred to as -''Data Subject'') or "You") who visit and use the website www.gorow-latvia.com.

1.2. . Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, ie the Data Subject. Processing of personal data is any activity related to personal data, such as obtaining, recording, modifying, using, viewing, erasing or destroying.

1.3. The data controller complies with the data processing principles provided for in the legislation and is able to confirm that personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable legislation.

 

2. Purpose of data processing

Data processing is carried out to ensure the reservation, purchase and administration of orders for Go&Row services and goods.

3. Acquisition, processing and storage of personal data

3.1. The data controller obtains personal data about you when you use the website of the online store, view its content, make reservations, use the Go&Row e-mail info.gorow-latvia.com

3.2. By visiting and using the services provided in the   online store, making service reservations, ordering goods, entering your personal data or other personal information, you agree that any information provided is used and managed in accordance with the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy.

3.3. By entering the necessary information, placing the order, you confirm that you are familiar with  Go&Row's privacy policy and agree that the data you provide is used so that Go&Row can make a service reservation and provide the service in accordance with the Latvian to the legislative requirements of the Republic. By entering the information, you agree that notifications related to the processing of the order will be sent to the specified e-mail address.

3.4. The data subject is responsible for ensuring that the submitted personal data is correct, accurate and complete. Knowingly providing false information is considered a violation of our Privacy Policy. The data subject is obliged to immediately notify the Data Controller of any changes in the submitted personal data.

3.5. The Data Controller is not responsible for damages caused to the Data Subject or third parties, if they are caused by falsely submitted personal data.

4. Processing of personal data of customers

4.1. The data controller may process the following personal data:

4.1.1. Name and surname

4.1.2. Contact information (email address and/or phone number)

4.1.3. Transaction data (purchased service, product, price, payment information, etc.).

4.1.4. Any other information submitted to us during the purchase of services and goods offered by the website or when communicating with us.

4.2. The legal basis for personal data processing is Article 6, Clause 1, subparagraphs a), b), c) and f) of the General Data Protection Regulation: a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of his personal data for one or more specific purposes; b) the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract, the contracting party of which is the data subject, or for the performance of measures at the request of the data subject before the conclusion of the contract; c) processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation attributable to the controller; f) processing is necessary to comply with the legitimate interests of the controller or a third party, except , if the interests of the data subject or fundamental rights and fundamental freedoms that require the protection of personal data are more important than such interests, in particular if the data subject is a child.

4.3. The Data Controller stores and processes the Personal Data of the Data Subject as long as at least one of the following criteria is met:

4.3.1. Personal data are necessary for the purposes for which they were received;
4.3.2. As long as the Data Manager and/or the Data Subject can realize their legitimate interests, such as submitting objections or bringing or bringing a lawsuit to court, in accordance with the procedures set forth in external regulatory acts;
4.3.3. As long as there is a legal obligation to store data, such as under the Accounting Act;
4.3.4. As long as the Data Subject's consent to the relevant personal data processing is valid, if there is no other legal basis for personal data processing.

Upon termination of the conditions mentioned in this paragraph, the term of storage of the personal data of the Data Subject also expires and all relevant personal data are permanently deleted from computer systems and electronic and/or paper documents that contained the relevant personal data or these documents are anonymized.

4.4. In order to fulfill its obligations to you, the Data Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to cooperation partners, data processors who carry out the necessary data processing on our behalf, such as accountants, courier services, etc. Upon request, the Data Controller can transfer your personal data to state and law enforcement authorities in order to if necessary, defend their legal interests by drafting, submitting and defending legal claims.

4.5. When processing and storing personal data, the Data Controller implements organizational and technical measures to ensure the protection of personal data against accidental or illegal destruction, alteration, disclosure and any other illegal processing.

5. Rights of the data subject

5.1. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, you have the right to:
5.1.1. Access your personal data, receive information about their processing, as well as request a copy of your personal data in electronic format and the right to transfer this data to another controller (data portability);
5.1.2. Request correction of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
5.1.3. Delete your personal data ("be forgotten"), except in cases where the law requires data retention;
5.1.4. Withdraw your previously given consent to the processing of personal data;
5.1.5. Limit the processing of your data - the right to request that we temporarily stop processing all your personal data;
5.1.6. Contact the Data State Inspectorate

6. Final provisions

6.1. This Privacy Policy has been developed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (April 27, 2016) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and which repeals Directive 95/46/EC ( General Data Protection Regulation), as well as the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union in force.

6.2. The data controller has the right to make changes or additions to the Privacy Policy at any time and without prior notice. The latest version of the privacy policy published on gorow-latvia.com replaces all previous versions of the privacy policy.

Boat rental terms and conditions

General terms and conditions of use

  1. Homepage www.gorow-latvia.com the owner and maintainer is the Limited Liability Company "Go&Row", registration no. 40203408604 (hereinafter - Go&Row).

  2. The general terms and conditions must not conflict with the legal norms applicable in the Republic of Lithuania, and if necessary, they are supplemented by the applicable legal norms.

  3. By visiting www.gorow-latvia.com, you agree to the Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them. Please read the terms and conditions carefully before making a reservation.

  4. In case of non-compliance with the rules, Go&Row has the right to cancel the reservation and not provide the service.

  5. Use of materials published by Go&Row is consistent with Go&Row, references must be used.

  6. Go&Row reserves the right to unilaterally amend the terms and conditions at any time. After changes, the new terms and conditions are posted on the Go&Row website.

  7. In case of disputes and disagreements, they are resolved by mutual agreement or, if an agreement fails, then it is resolved in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

  8. The Parties are not responsible for losses caused by force majeure: natural disasters, accidents, catastrophes, epidemics, acts of war, strikes, internal riots, blockades, actions of authorities and governing bodies and any unforeseeable emergency situation or event that is beyond the control of the Parties and is not resulting from their error or negligence and which could not have been avoided by taking proper precautions.

General terms of boat rental

  1. Boat rental price: 39 euros - 59 euros / boat (depending on the route).

  2. The duration of the boat rental is determined per calendar day, not per 24-hour period.

  3. Boat rental price includes: double kayak, life jackets, 2  kayak oars, waterproof bag, boat delivery, transport logistics.

  4. Go&Row offers double kayaks with a load capacity of up to 300 kg.

Booking and boat trip rules

  1. Reservations for boat trips are accepted on the website www.gorow-latvia.com by filling out the reservation form for the specific trip, accepting reservations by e-mailinfo.gorow@gmail.comor by phone +371 29113194 and making payment.

  2. When registering for a trip, Go&Row will send a trip registration confirmation to the specified email.

  3. The day before the planned trip, detailed information about the trip, place of arrival, time, etc. will be sent to the specified e-mail

  4. By registering for the boat trip, you agree that you may be photographed and filmed during the boat trip, and the photo and video materials may be posted on the website and social networks. If you do not want to be photographed or filmed, you must inform one of the Go&Row employees before the trip.

  5. Minors may participate in boat trips if accompanied by an adult who assumes full responsibility for the minor.

  6. The person who registers the boat is responsible for damage or loss of inventory and covers Go&Row for all damages.

  7. Report damaged or otherwise inadequate inventory before the start of the boat trip.

  8. The boaters themselves are responsible for non-compliance with the rules, damaged or lost personal belongings or possible injuries during the trip.

  9. Alcohol consumption is not allowed during the trip, if any of the boat crew has consumed alcohol before or during the trip, then the crew takes 100% responsibility for their actions and their consequences.

  10. At the beginning of the trip, all boaters are given a safety and technical briefing.

  11. Every boater must wear a life jacket.

  12. The total weight of the boat's crew must not exceed the specified carrying capacity of the selected boat.

  13. In case of rescheduling, cancellation or no-show of the boat trip, the "Trip Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy" applies.

  14. Detailed information on the processing of personal data is available in the "Privacy Policy".

Trip cancellation and rescheduling policy

  1. The booked trip can be transferred or changed to another of our trips no later than 24 hours before the boat trip.

  2. If participation in the trip is canceled no later than 24 hours before the start of the boat trip:

2.1. it is possible to transfer the trip to another available date;

2.2. the paid money can be used to pay for another trip (if the chosen trip is more expensive than the paid one, the difference is paid by the customer).

  1. If you cancel the booked trip less than 24 hours before the trip or do not arrive for it, you lose the right to move the trip to another date or use the paid money to pay for another trip, the amount paid is not returned.

  2. In individual trips, changes in the number of boats are accepted no later than 24 hours before the start of the trip. If the change in the number of boats is announced less than 24 hours before the trip, then you have to pay for the previously requested number of boats.

  3. Due to unsuitable weather conditions or insufficient number of participants, Go&Row reserves the right to cancel the trip. In case of cancellation, Go&Row will contact each customer individually and agree on rescheduling the trip or refunding the money.

Amendments to the trip cancellation and rescheduling policy

Go&Row reserves the right to unilaterally amend the Cancellation and Reschedule Policy at any time. After changes, the new policy is published on the Go&Row website.
